2007 Toyota Tacoma

The 2007 Toyota Tacoma encounters only minor changes from previous models. The major redesign in '05 has sufficed for the most part to meet peoples expectations, so Toyota has refrained from altering too heavily on the redesign.

The truck is available in regular, access and double cab. The double cab is equipped with the V6 engine. They have also given the truck slightly bigger seats this year.

Everything about these trucks speaks to being bigger than the previous models , as they try to move further and further away from the pre-2004 compact trucks, they have been very successful in doing this. The 2007 Toyota Tacoma has resulted is an excellent example of a practical mid-size truck.

The other good thing is that this vehicle provides practicality at an affordable price, and that's something people are always looking for.

2006 Toyota Tacoma

The '06 Tacoma is a very strong contender in the new mid-size truck market. The vehicle comes in a few different configurations including an access cab that has rear hinged doors for secondary access, and the double cab, which has it's own doors for the back seat.

Both models of the 2006 Toyota Tacoma are solid, reliable trucks, and are available in two and four wheel drive, so deciding between the two comes down mostly to price and your needs.

The access cab is powered by in-line four engine and the double cab by the V6, so if you need a little more size and a little more power, then the double cab is the way to go.

Both continue Toyota's excellent tradition of building trucks that are utilitarian and yet stylish; the combination that most people look for in all vehicles. The 2006 Toyota Tacoma will satisfy those who need a truck for work and a nice vehicle.

2005 Toyota Tacoma

The smartest thing that Toyota could have done with their new 2005 Toyota Tacoma would have been to address the industry and market wide concerns regarding compact trucks while still managing to maintain everything that was popular about the Tacoma. Luckily, they have managed to do exactly that.

The general impression in 2004 was that compact trucks didn't have enough demand to continue producing models in that category. Almost every major player in the industry has taken their vehicles, and up-sized them for 2005.

The new 2005 Toyota Tacoma has more room, it has more power, and it now has the capacity to actually function as a work truck without being as big and unwieldy as a full size pickup. It is that unique combination of traits that makes this vehicle a great buy for those who need a truck.
